My basement got flooded after some heavy rain we had last spring. We had major water damage Lakeway to our basement. We had to call a water damage restoration company to help us with getting everything cleaned up. We weren't really sure where to start or who to call. We never had any issues like this before. First we contacted our homeowners insurance company to see if they offered any coverage for this type of damage and cleanup. Luckily, they said our homeowners insurance would pay for the cleanup. They gave us the name of a few companies around that would be able to help us. We made a few phone calls and since it was going to be paid for, we chose to go with a company that was able to do it quickly. This was our best option because we wanted the cleanup done fast. They were able to cleanup the damage the water caused and make our basement look like it did before and maybe even better. I am happy the insurance company let us know about the companies around us and also that our insurance paid for it.
