My basement got flooded after some heavy rain we had last spring. We had major water damage to our basement. We had to call a water damage restoration company to help us with getting everything cleaned up. We weren't really sure where to start or who to call.We never had any issues like this before. First we contacted our homeowners insurance company to see if they offered any coverage for this type of damage and cleanup. Luckily, they said our homeowners insurance would pay for the cleanup.
They gave us the name of a few companies around that would be able to help us. One of them was Bee Cave Water Damage Restoration of Austin.
We made a few phone calls and since it was going to be paid for, we chose to go with a company that was able to do it quickly. This was our best option because we wanted the cleanup done fast. They were able to cleanup the damage the water caused and make our basement look like it did before and maybe even better. I am happy the insurance company let us know about the companies around us and also that our insurance paid for it.
Flooded basements can be a real pain and inconvenience. This happened to my wife and me a few years ago. Unfortunately for us, our basement was refinished so we had a major mess on our hands. Our insurance company wouldn’t foot the entire bill for the cleanup and renovations so it ended up being quite costly. I’m glad to see your insurance company paid up!
